Broken Tea Cup's Artful Living

​

This is an ongoing course in increments of 6 week sessions using art and narrative exercises for self exploration and mental health wellness. You will be guided by an instructor with over 30 years of experience, Kris Hamblin, MS, NCC, QSUDP, LPC, with ways to integrate wellness through the arts.

 

Each class session will explore tips for increasing feelings of wellness and work towards a deeper understanding of self through mindfulness exercises, art and narrative experiences and interactions with the group. â€‹â€‹

Tuesdays 6 Week Session

Elements of Art Studio Tour

The Elements of Art Studio Tour celebrates and supports local artists by cultivating a vibrant, collaborative arts community and enhancing the cultural and economic vitality of our region.

 

During the tour, artists open their studios to the public — offering an inspiring glimpse into their creative spaces and processes.

​​

This unique experience invites participants to reconnect with favorite artists, discover new talents, and engage more deeply with the art that shapes our community.

Dragon Art Co's Journalettes Workshop

Come join us for a creative and inspiring Art Journaling Workshop, just in time for your school year planning! Learn how to use the new Dragon Art Journalettes to set goals, organize your year, and bring more creativity into your planning process. Don’t worry if you already have a planner, bullet journal, or art journal—these ideas will work beautifully in any system you’re using.

Bring your journal, your ideas, and your excitement to start the year strong. Journalettes and art materials will be available for purchase, with some supplies provided for general use. Plus, your $5 admission includes a few special journaling surprises!

Kyle Lind Artist Reception

​

The Florence Arts, Culture, and Entertainment (FACE) Gallery at the Florence Events Center (FEC) is proud to present a solo exhibition by global and local artist Kyle Lind, on view from August 1 through August 25, 2025. This exciting showcase highlights Lind’s distinctive approach to art, process, visual style, blending texture, emotion, and place through a series of new and recent works. Some past works are put into a fresh format providing an airy perspective.

​

Guests are invited to explore the creative vision that defines Lind’s work while it is up. An Artist reception is scheduled for August 19th from 5 to 7pm.

​

A longtime resident of the Florence area, Lind’s work draws inspiration from the Oregon coast’s rugged beauty and ever-changing light. Known for his expressive use of mixed media and intuitive compositions, Lind’s art has been described as both deeply personal and universally resonant.

Youth Oriented Workshops & Classes are held on a casual basis. We typically create and schedule them upon interest of the student and parent or as a party.

Join us for a quarterly conversation of Art, Creativity, Problem Solving and Accountability. *Typically held the 3rd Friday of the Month at 5pm to 6pm. Check closer to the date for confirmation of event or cancelation. Free to Attend.

Warhammer 40K+

Join us for an epic Game & Create Night at BeauxArts Fine Art Materials where the world of Warhammer comes to life!

​

The 4pm start time is mainly for set up and getting settled for game play at 5pm'ish when people will be arriving.

​

Engage in thrilling tabletop battles, strategize with fellow enthusiasts, and immerse yourself in the captivating lore of Warhammer. Whether you're a seasoned warrior or a curious newcomer, this night promises excitement, camaraderie, and unforgettable moments.

​

Unleash your creativity and conquer the battlefield in an environment filled with art and imagination!

 

We will having space to discover the game and be able to paint and make art on our figures.

 

Bring snacks and drinks (We typically pool together for pizza).

​

We have Warhammer items and Citadel Colours in stock. If you want a specific, item, let us know ASAP so we can order and have in by the Game & Create Night.
